Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our busy Family Practice team. The ideal candidate will provide both clinical and administrative support to ensure efficient daily operations while delivering high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Room patients and obtain vital signs, medical history, and chief complaints
• Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers during procedures
• Administer injections, immunizations, and medications as directed
• Perform basic lab procedures, including specimen collection and point-of-care testing
• Manage patient flow to maintain an efficient schedule
• Document accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR) system
• Handle prescription refills and pharmacy communications
• Provide patient education and follow-up instructions
• Maintain exam rooms, equipment, and supplies
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and infection control protocols

Qualifications:

• Certified or Registered Medical Assistant preferred (CMA/RMA)
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a family practice or primary care setting preferred
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology and clinical procedures
• Proficiency with EMR systems
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient care
• Bilingual candidates are a plus

Work Schedule:

• Full-time position
• Four-day workweek (if applicable)
• No weekends/holidays (if applicable)
