Key Job Details – Arizona Healthcare Jobs

• Location: Flagstaff, AZ 86001 (Northern Arizona)
• Facility Type: Level I Trauma Center, Short Term Acute Care Facility
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (Start: 9/22/2025 – End: 12/22/2025)
• Shifts: 3x12-hour days/mids (06:30 – 19:00 / 10:30 – 23:00)
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1930–$1980
• On-Call: Up to 8 weekday shifts and up to 9 weekend call shifts (30-minute recall)
• Patient Ratio: 1:1
• Scrubs: Provided
• Charting System: Cerner EMR
• Parking: Free on-site parking

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent Operating Room RN experience
• Active, unrestricted Arizona RN license or valid compact nursing license
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Level I trauma experience required; Level II trauma experience considered for highly skilled clinicians
• Proficiency in general, orthopedic, spine, trauma, and neuro surgeries (including craniotomies)
• First-time travel nurses welcome
• Ability to take call and work weekends as needed
• Strong adaptability and willingness to float to other clinical areas

OR RN Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care in the operating room for ortho, trauma, spine, and neuro cases
• Assist with surgical procedures such as craniotomies, joint replacements, and trauma surgeries
• Maintain strict adherence to patient safety and quality healthcare standards
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (physical therapy, respiratory, radiology, pharmacy)
• Participate in on-call rotations and respond within 30 minutes as required
• Document patient care accurately using Cerner EMR
• Float to other hospital units as needed
