Manufacturing Engineer Opportunity | Contract | Onsite | Tempe, AZ Job Description As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will support product transfers for medical device equipment. Your role will emphasize collaboration, evaluations, process improvement, mechanical and electrical aptitude, and procedure investigations. Responsibilities + Support product transfers for medical device equipment from Florida to Arizona. + Collaborate with team members for effective product transfer and process improvement. + Evaluate and improve manufacturing processes to ensure efficiency and quality. + Demonstrate mechanical and electrical aptitude in troubleshooting and equipment management. + Investigate and refine procedures to optimize production flow and compliance. Essential Skills + Lean manufacturing + Six Sigma + Product transfers + Process improvement + Mechanical and electrical aptitude + SolidWorks + Continuous improvement + Electromechanical expertise Additional Skills & Qualifications + 2+ years in product transfers + 2+ years in process improvement utilizing Lean, Six Sigma, and statistical tools + 2+ years in New Product Introduction (NPI) including process validation, documentation, and training + 1+ year in Quality & Compliance ensuring adherence to GMP, FDA, and ISO standards + 2+ years of providing technical support for existing processes + Experience in cross-functional collaboration with Quality, R&D, Maintenance, and Operations Work Environment This position is onsite with core hours from 8 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday. You will work in a dynamic environment that offers the potential for leadership roles within a national medical device company. The initial project duration is 6 months, with a strong possibility of extension to 15 months based on project needs and performance. Internal contractors are often considered for full-time positions based on their contributions. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Tempe, AZ. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $36.00 - $40.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
