Discover Impactful Work:
We are seeking an individual to perform vendor administrative and invoicing support for Unity Lab Services. Specific activities relative to the job function could include processing accounts payable and accounts receivable invoices and collaborating closely with both internal & external customers as well as suppliers.
A day in the Life:
Work within Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
Responsible for Vendor Management including primary contact with vendors/primary service providers.
Responsible for Program and Billable Invoicing and acquiring vital approvals and escalation of incorrect invoicing and/or quotations from Vendor.
Responsible for quotes and service request generation and loading into CMMS.
Keep detailed SC Logs and Documentation with corresponding data including SR, PSP, Contract, Costs, Marks Ups, etc.
Collaborates with broader pricing team for maintaining Customer Mark Ups and Discount structure. Generation and Processing of Contract Renewal Pricing.
Ability to multitask optimally and efficiently.
Capable of prioritizing multiple projects while still achieving deadlines.
Detail-oriented person who is passionate and enthusiastic about quality.
Highly self-driven, innovative and execution-focused to deliver results.
Embody safety culture and promote a safe work environment, communicate client issues, communicate openly with leadership and peers, adopt Practical Process Improvement (PPI) methodologies, show strength at explaining site specific scope of work, and positively always represent Thermo Fisher Scientific throughout customer locations.
Follow well-defined procedures and successfully apply Good Documentation Practices in all regulated record keeping.
Independently make decisions and use available resources to meet customer requirements.
Participate in projects and complete other duties as assigned.
Keys to Success:
Education :
Must possess a High School Diploma/GED
Associates/Bachelors preferred
Experience:
Utilization of Good Documentation Practices in all record keeping.
2+ years in customer service facing role.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
Demonstrated verbal, written and presentation skills.
Must maintain Thermo Fisher Scientifics' Four-I Values.
Proven excellence in customer service skills.
Detail oriented, problem solver, promotes team environment.
Computer/software skills (i.e. Power BI, Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Strong interpersonal skills and proactive approach in all duties.
Ability to instantly adapt to a flexible and changing schedule.
Demonstrate a sense of urgency in completing work assignments.
Good time management and organizational skills.
Must be able to work overtime as required.
Works primarily in office environment to include cubicles and/or in and around shipping/receiving docks, stock rooms, storage locations and laboratory environments
May be required to work independently within customer location
Must be able to work hours required to get the job done
