Sr. Program Quality Lead
About Spara Technologies
Spara Technologies delivers advanced engineering, staffing, and mission-focused solutions across energy, cyber, air, land, sea, and space domains. We combine the right people, proven processes, and specialized expertise to deliver results—ready to execute today. Driven by our commitment to the warfighter, we place their mission and success at the heart of everything we do.
We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Program Quality Lead (PQL) to join our team. In this critical role, you will champion a strong quality culture and drive collaboration across cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with Quality and Mission Assurance (Q&MA) standards.
As the primary quality liaison between the program, customers, and suppliers, you will oversee the execution of quality processes throughout the program lifecycle—focusing primarily on sustainment activities, with support for development efforts as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the lead quality interface with customers and suppliers, ensuring adherence to all contractual and regulatory quality requirements.
- Drive early engagement with engineering and program teams to influence quality-related decisions and embed quality into all aspects of program execution.
- Develop and monitor quality performance metrics to support continuous improvement and process discipline across the program.
- Lead or support root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions, implementing closed-loop controls to improve quality, cost, and schedule performance.
- Collaborate with Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) and support functions to resolve issues, share lessons learned, and improve overall process maturity.
- Conduct reviews and assessments of program health, including technical system evaluations and risk-based quality assessments.
- Ensure Quality Management System (QMS) processes are properly defined, followed, and improved as necessary to support program needs.
- Interpret and apply internal command media and external standards in support of ongoing work.
- Identify and lead initiatives to reduce Cost of Poor Quality (CoPQ), contributing to cost efficiency and improved product performance.
- Support the implementation of Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) in alignment with AS9100 , where applicable.
What You Bring:
- Strong understanding of quality principles, systems engineering, and product lifecycle management.
- Experience leading quality initiatives in complex programs—ideally in aerospace, defense, or high-reliability environments.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills with a proven ability to influence across functions and levels.
- Ability to analyze data, assess risk, and make sound decisions in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
This is a strategic opportunity to make a direct impact on program success by embedding quality excellence into every phase of execution. If you're passionate about quality leadership and driving mission-critical outcomes, we encourage you to apply.
Let me know if you'd like to tailor this for a specific company tone (e.g., more technical, more casual, more sales-driven) or platform (e.g., LinkedIn, job board, internal intranet).
