Position Summary

Atlas Disposal is seeking a high-caliber  Regional Sales Manager  based in Laveen , AZ , to lead and scale our sales operations across  Arizona . This leader must bring a  strategic mindset  while being deeply  hands-on , spending time in the field riding with sales reps, coaching, and driving discipline in daily sales activities.

The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for building a high-performing sales culture rooted in accountability, forecasting accuracy, CRM discipline, and strong community/market presence. This role is critical to supporting Atlas Disposal’s continued expansion, margin growth, and customer experience standards across multiple markets.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

• Develop and execute sales strategies for Arizona, aligned with Atlas Disposal’s growth targets.
• Provide forecasting, pipeline management, and strategic market analysis to leadership.
• Collaborate with Operations, Finance, and Customer Experience teams to ensure alignment on pricing, retention, and new service offerings.
• Support integration efforts for acquisitions (e.g., new markets, new business units, or house accounts restructuring if required).

Hands-On Sales Leadership

• Conduct  regular field ride-alongs  with sales reps.
• Coach and mentor sales staff on prospecting, presentations, closing techniques, and customer relationship management.
• Ensure strong CRM utilization and accurate pipeline reporting.
• Support contract negotiations, pricing strategies, and high-value account pursuits.

Performance Management & Accountability

• Own regional sales KPIs including revenue growth, retention, margin expansion, and quota attainment.
• Lead weekly sales meetings and performance reviews.
• Maintain accountability for sales activity levels, follow-up, proposals, and market penetration targets.

Cross-Regional Leadership

• Oversee sales teams in  Arizona (Phoenix Valley) and support Nor Cal and Utah .
• Travel monthly/quarterly between markets to maintain presence, culture, and operational awareness.
• Provide consistent reporting to senior leadership on opportunities, risks, and local market trends.
• Help Support Custer Service Call Centers

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 5–10 years of sales leadership experience, preferably in waste management, environmental services, logistics, or similar operational industries.
• Proven experience managing multi-location or multi-state sales teams.
• Strong strategic planning ability with a track record of execution.
• Hands-on leadership style with willingness to spend time in the field.
• Proficient with CRM systems and data-driven decision making.
• Exceptional communication, coaching, and negotiation skills.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel frequently (Arizona).

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in mid-market growth-oriented company.
• Background in route-based services or B2B contract sales.
• Strong operational understanding to align sales with service capabilities.

Offered compensation:

$100,000/yr with Bonus Potential
