Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT)
We are well-established, non-emergency veterinary practice in Yuma, Arizona seeking a Certified Veterinary Technician to join our team. This position focuses primarily on preventative care, routine appointments, and surgical support in a calm, organized environment- no after-hours emergencies.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- · Assist DVM with routine surgeries (spays, neuters, dentals, mass removals)
- · Anesthesia induction, monitoring, and recovery
- · Obtain and process lab samples (blood, urine, fecal)
- · Take and interpret vital signs and patient histories
- · Place IV catheters, administer medications, and assist with radiology
- · Educate clients on preventive care and post-operative instructions
- · Maintain accurate medical records
- · Support hospital cleanliness and patient safety
QUALIFICATIONS
- · Current Certified/Licensed/Registered Veterinary Technician in Arizona
- · Strong anesthesia and surgical assisting skills
- · Compassionate, patient-focused approach
- · Ability to work efficiently in a team environment
- · Excellent communication skills and client service skills
- · Motivated self-starter who takes initiative without constant direction.
