Position Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Regional Business Development Liaison to lead strategic outreach and referral growth initiatives primarily in the Phoenix and Tuscon, AZ market. This individual will be responsible for cultivating relationships with healthcare professionals, hospitals, senior living communities, mental health providers, and other referral sources to drive awareness and utilization of our behavioral health programs.

This is a field-based position with steady regional travel. Candidates must reside in the Phoenix, AZ metro area and have a deep understanding of local healthcare systems and referral landscapes.

Key Responsibilities

• Build, develop, and maintain relationships with key referral partners including physicians, psychiatric hospitals, emergency departments, senior living communities, case managers, and outpatient providers.
• Educate community stakeholders on our behavioral health services, treatment programs, and referral processes.
• Execute market-specific outreach strategies to increase patient referrals and program awareness.
• Identify new business opportunities and collaborate with leadership to develop growth strategies for each market.
• Coordinate and attend events, presentations, and networking functions representing the organization professionally.
• Maintain a structured schedule of outreach activities, logging contacts and outcomes.
• Provide feedback to the executive team on market trends, competitor activity, and partnership opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of marketing or business development experience in behavioral healthcare (required) .
• Proven success in referral development, territory management, and relationship-building.
• Knowledge of behavioral health programs including inpatient, outpatient, and telehealth models.
• Strong public speaking, presentation, and communication skills.
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and capable of working independently.
• Willingness and ability to travel regionally up to 50% of the time.
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, healthcare administration, psychology, social work, or related field preferred.
• Must reside in Phoenix, AZ metro area.

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary range: $75,000–$87,500 annually (commensurate with experience)
