Position Summary:

Bakery Sales Solutions is seeking a Bakery Specialist to join our team in the Phoenix, AZ area. This dynamic role supports our retail partners through hands-on in-store visits, training, merchandising, and product representation. You’ll be the face of our bakery brands, ensuring they are beautifully displayed, well-stocked, and represented with excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute in-store visits based on planograms and schematics

• Decorate cakes, bake, and merchandise bakery products to meet retailer standards

• Train newly hired cake decorators on both our product lines and specific retailer programs

• Support grand openings, holiday rollouts, and seasonal production needs

• Collaborate with the Bakery Sales Manager and Operations Specialist to generate new product ideas and build engaging displays

• Take step-by-step photos for handling instructions and sales memos

• Build strong working relationships with bakery managers, decorators, and store teams

• Monitor stock levels, ensure proper product rotation, and maintain visually appealing displays

• Follow daily visit schedules as outlined by the Sales Manager for efficient coverage

• Support seasonal product launches, promotions, and visual merchandising efforts

• Maintain a professional and positive presence in stores at all times

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of bakery experience required; in-store retail bakery experience highly preferred

• Proficient in cake decorating and basic baking techniques

• Strong merchandising skills and a creative eye for display setup

• Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with repetitive physical activity

• Able to lift and carry up to 25 lbs, and occasionally push/pull 50+ lbs

• Willingness to travel daily using a personal vehicle to multiple store locations

• Must be at least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license

• Comfortable using mobile apps for work-related tasks
