Customer Service Representatives

• As a Seasonal Customer Service Representative, you will be the first impression to the citizens of County. It will be your knowledge that will guide callers in being the first contact resolution for our offices. You will help assist in answering calls, returning phone calls, routing and responding to emails, scheduling meetings, and data entry. This is a great entry level opportunity into learning how County works.

General Duties & Qualifications include the following at a minimum

• Knowledge of basic office equipment including a personal computer, electronic key system (EKS), telephone and headset.
• Ability to communicate and record information accurately.
• Ability to question others to determine specific needs.
• Ability to deal with people patiently.
• Ability to proofread and correct errors

Skills required:

• Receives calls that require skilled communication; providing accurate information based on policies, guidelines, and directives.
• Acts as a communication facilitator between the public and call center management
• Communicates and processes information to the Lead or Supervisor when necessary.
• Answers incoming phone calls and emails; may relay messages and emails.
• Provides factual information to the public, and /or other County employees.
• Maintains logs and other forms of information, data entry.
• Completes and reviews routine forms and memos, ensuring accuracy and completeness

Experience required:

• Customer service experience, clerical experience, or a combination thereof

Education required:

• High School diploma or GED.

Education Preferred:

• Post-secondary education

Work hours:

• 8:00 am to 5:00 pm

Job Types: Full-time, Contract, Temporary

Pay: $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
