Test Engineer

Job Title: Path Lab EngineerJob Description This is an onsite position for a motivated, hands-on engineer with expertise in path lab technologies and experience with electro-mechanical devices. You will be working on a new product development program currently in its Feasibility phase, performing assessments on Tissue Diagnostics Instruments using a variety of assays and tissue samples. The results of these assessments will contribute to the creation of design inputs for a new system. Responsibilities + Perform assessments on Tissue Diagnostics Instruments using various assays and tissue samples. + Contribute to the creation of design inputs for new systems. + Write and execute lab and engineering testing protocols. + Plan and execute assigned projects utilizing technical and theoretical understanding. + Analyze data, evaluate results, form conclusions, and provide or implement process and document improvements. + Update project planning processes and contribute to experimental design. + Ensure quality control of work products. + Communicate and collaborate effectively with team members. Essential Skills + Bachelor's degree in Biomedical, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering. + 2-5 years of experience in systems characterization protocols, design of experiments, and test method validation. + Proven ability to write and execute lab and engineering testing protocols. + Experience in data analysis, evaluation of results, and process improvement. + Excellent technical presentation skills. + Strong communication and collaboration skills with a proactive self-starting approach. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Strong preference for candidates with past experience in Roche, automotive, or other regulated industries. + Experience with CAD and SolidWorks for Systems Engineers. Work Environment The position is located at the global headquarters for Tissue Diagnostics. The work environment is mission-driven, diverse, and patient-focused, with a strong emphasis on cancer diagnostics and inclusion. The facility houses R&D for pathology and cancer testing solutions, manufacturing and operations for tissue diagnostics products, as well as quality, regulatory, and compliance teams. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $39.00 - $42.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
