SVS Group currently has a full-time opportunity for a Mechanical Assembler in the Tempe AZ area. This is a Monday - Friday 1st shift.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Building of gas/ electronic fireplaces
- Assemble gas valves and fittings to burners in a proper and professional manner.
- Demonstrate mechanical thinking when building gas valves and ignition systems.
- Test fire gas valve system to confirm proper installation
- Mange open orders and back orders, getting orders shipped in a timely manner
- Manage inventory with restocking shelves and keeping aisles clean and clear
- Go the extra mile when preparing customer orders
- Assist with special projects
- Other duties as assigned
Required:
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Mechanical in thinking - and skills with various hand and power tools
- High school diploma or GED
