Our hospitalist service minimizes inpatient care demands on our subspecialty divisions. You will have opportunities to interpret cardiac ultrasound, nuclear cardiology imaging, cardiac CT, and cardiac MR, and champion our outpatient heart failure program.

Key Duties:

• Engage in quality improvement activities and ensure compliance with agency, facility, and department regulations.
• Supervise and train fellows, residents, and medical students from the University of Arizona College of Medicine.
• Maintain American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Commitment to adherence to VA and SAVAHCS regulatory requirements.

Work Schedule: Full-time, Permanent, Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM.

Requirements:

• United States Citizenship (Non-US Citizens may be appointed when it is not possible to recruit qualified US citizens per VA Policy).
• Degree of Doctor of Medicine or equivalent degree in medicine or osteopathic medicine.
• Current, full, and unrestricted license to practice medicine or surgery in any US State.
• Board Certification in Cardiology by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM).
• Successful completion of Residency Training.
