Salary: $85,000 - $105,000 DOE
Position Summary:
The Superintendent oversees all on-site coordination of projects, including scheduling subcontractors, directing material and equipment, enforcing job rules/specifications, and confirming work is taking place on schedule and within budget. The Superintendent is also responsible for scheduling inspections and maintaining quality control and jobsite safety.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Schedule subcontractors, consultants, and vendors on a critical path to ensure timely completion.
- Perform quality control duties and responsibilities regarding the work being performed.
- Communicate with the project team regarding ASIs, RFIs, and material submittals.
- Ensure that the subcontractor is fully executing and complying with the contracted scope of work.
- Coordinate required inspections with local jurisdictions.
- Identify subcontractor non-compliance with safety, health, and environmental quality standards and identify conflicts in construction progress and communicate them to the project team for resolution.
- Maintain a daily log (written) of activities on the job site.
- Walk all units on a project daily to monitor activities and assist in future planning.
- Preside over weekly subcontractor meetings designed to coordinate the work. Issue notices of non-compliance to subcontractors regarding quality of work or scheduling.
- Ensure that the job site is always kept in a clean and organized manner. Perform job progress and completion punch list.

Immediate Supervisor: This position reports to the General Division Manager.
Required Education, Skills, and Experience:
- Degree and/or experience as a Construction Superintendent.
- In-depth understanding of construction procedures and legal guidelines in the field.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints.
- Knowledge of all necessary permits and building codes.
- Understanding and proficiency in MS Office and construction software.
