AWS & Azure Cloud Architect

TEKsystems is looking for an experience AWS or Azure Cloud Architect.

Our large financial client is looking for an experienced cloud architect to support and manage their Terraform modules with a focus on DevSecOps.

What they’re really hiring for:

These are hands‑on Cloud Architects who can own and evolve secure Terraform modules , embed security into pipelines, and help eliminate manual cloud builds. They need real architecture experience , but this is not just whiteboarding:

• The modules already exist
• The work is about taking ownership , improving them, and scaling them securely
• “This is a hands‑on Cloud Architect role where you’re taking over and evolving existing Terraform modules, embedding security into cloud builds, and helping the bank move toward one‑day, fully automated cloud provisioning.

Core responsibilities

• Own and enhance existing Terraform modules
• Design and enforce secure cloud patterns (DevSecOps)
• Work closely with developers and platform teams to:
  • Reduce manual work
  • Enable faster, standardized cloud provisioning
• Support the May deadline for full module ownership

Must-haves

• Strong cloud architecture experience
• Terraform (hands‑on, production use)
• Ansible
• DevSecOps mindset (security built into pipelines & IaC)

Cloud-specific

• 1 AWS-focused architect
  • AWS services
  • CloudFormation
• 1 Azure-focused architect
  • Azure-native services & patterns

Key Management Systems (KMS)

This is a Contract position based out of Chandler, AZ.

The pay range for this position is $75.00 - $85.00/hr.
