Remote Billing Specialist
We are seeking a detail-oriented Remote Billing Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for managing billing processes, ensuring accurate invoicing, and maintaining timely collections. The ideal candidate is organized, analytical, and experienced in handling billing systems while working independently in a remote environment.
Compensation: $21-$24 Per Hour
Key Responsibilities
Prepare, review, and submit accurate invoices to clients or payors
Verify billing data for completeness and accuracy
Process payments and reconcile accounts
Follow up on outstanding balances and resolve billing discrepancies
Communicate with clients, vendors, or internal teams regarding billing inquiries
Maintain detailed records of transactions and billing activities
Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable regulations
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred)
Billing, accounts receivable, or related experience preferred
Experience with billing software or ERP systems (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, or healthcare EMR systems)
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting
