SAP ERP Data Analyst

Summary: The Business Systems Analyst (BSA) - Data & Analytics plays a critical role in connecting business needs with technology solutions. This position requires collaboration with stakeholders, including business managers, users, project managers, and development teams, to gather and document user stories and business requirements. The BSA will conduct complex ERP data analysis and create technical data mapping specifications to consolidate and standardize data from ERP systems (primarily SAP) and other source system applications to Microsoft Azure data platform. This role requires a high degree of technical as well as business acumen to translate business needs into data solutions.Essential Functions:

• Advanced experience synthesizing data from multiple ERP Source Systems, understanding data lineage, and development of technical specifications for loading data to Microsoft Azure data platform
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand objectives, processes, and reporting needs, design data flows and develop prototype solutions using SQL, Python in partnership with technical team
• Accountable for detailed source to target data validation at all stages of development and coordination of all User Acceptance Testing, Regression Testing, and Test Plan design and execution
• Extensive problem solving skills and ability to navigate a variety of source applications (e.g. SAP, SFDC, Peoplesoft) for troubleshooting root cause identification as well as solution design
• Thought leadership on Dashboard design techniques, preferably with Power BI, as well as advancing a culture of data analysis by leveraging and recommending new technologies
• Advanced experience building dashboard solutions, data visualizations
• Ensure compliance with data governance and quality standardsQualifications:
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, or related field. May consider equivalent work experience in lieu of degree.
• Minimum 5 years as a Business Systems Analyst
• Solid understanding of data governance, modeling, and validation principles and techniques.
• 3-5 years ERP experience (SAP S/4 Hana Preferred)
• 5+ years Expertise with SQL, Python, data analytics tools
• 5 years experience in Data Visualization proficiency (e.g. Power BI, Tableau or similar
