As an Anesthesia Technician, you’ll partner with expert anesthesia providers to prepare, operate, and maintain cutting-edge anesthesia equipment and monitoring systems. From setting the stage before a procedure to troubleshooting in real-time, you’ll be the behind-the-scenes hero ensuring everything is ready for routine surgeries and high-stakes cases alike. Hourly Pay Rate: $16.87 - $24.88 Responsibilities Prepare, operate, and maintain anesthesia equipment and monitoring systems in collaboration with anesthesia providers. Set up the operating room before procedures and troubleshoot in real time to support patient safety and smooth workflows. Assist anesthesia providers and other perioperative staff as needed to ensure readiness for routine and high-stakes cases. Qualifications Education : Requires a high school diploma or GED. Prefer post-high school training in the medical field. Experience : Minimum of one (1) year experience in a medical facility. Prefer one (1) year experience in an operating room. Certification/Licensure : Requires BLS card obtained through an approved American Heart Association (AHA) training center and will be required within three months. Ambulatory Clinics: Must have a valid fingerprint clearance card issued by the Arizona Department of Public Safety or submit a completed Affidavit at the time of hire. Must complete fingerprint clearance card application within seven (7) days of hire date. Must present actual card within 90 days of applying for a fingerprint clearance card. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities : Requires the ability to read, write, and speak effectively in English. Requires knowledge and skills in medical practice. Utilizes effective communication and interpersonal skills to enhance and encourage collaborative staff and community relationships.
