ESSENTIAL DUTIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES :
· Manage and direct in house and overseas engineering/drafting staff to develop submittal and process drawings for commercial millwork and casework fabrication
- Maintain schedules on drawing production to meet contractual commitments
- Conduct group drawing reviews with associated managers and ownership for quality and accuracy.
- Define, implement and maintain tools and methodology to support drawing quality and production
- Manage and maintain software updates and licenses
- Provide technical support and training to the department related to procedure, methodology, and manufacturing standards
- Maintain document archive and retrieval for past projects
- Work closely with the Project teams to debug problems and resolve issues.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS :
· Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent preferred
· 5+ years engineering experience in architectural millwork manufacturing.
· High proficiency in Autocad
· Experience with Microvellum required
· Knowledge of CNC programming and operations
· Knowledge of AWS manufacturing and materials standards
· Proven ability to provide training to staff on new tools and features.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
· Must be self-motivated and team oriented.
· Must be comfortable with a deadline driven schedule.
· Must have strong time management capabilities.
