Research Associate III

Job Title : Research Associate III – Investigation / Sustainability (On-Market Support)

Location : Oro Valley, AZ

Compensation : $34.00/hr

Hours : 40.0 hours per week

Type : Contract, Potential for extension or conversion to permanent



Responsibilities

• Design a wide range of experimental protocols related to reagent and assay investigations in support of product quality and compliance.
• Execute bench experiments, make detailed observations, analyze data, and prepare technical reports and summaries.
• Maintain complete and accurate records of experiments and procedures.
• Identify and implement improvements to work processes and laboratory environment.
• Work on complex problems requiring in-depth evaluation, exercising judgment within defined policies.
• Participate in cross-functional technical teams such as failure investigations or core teams.
• Collaborate across departments including Global Operations, Manufacturing, Quality, Regulatory, and Customer Support.
• Troubleshoot problems, institute corrective actions, and promote quality first time.
• Establish interfaces with other organizational groups and suggest creative solutions to problems.
• Present experimental procedures and results to group and project teams.

• Bachelor's Degree in Science (e.g., MCB, Biology, Chemistry, Physiology)
• 4 years relevant job experience
• Experience with wet lab techniques, including IHC, histology, or tissue diagnostics (preferred)
• Experience in root-cause analysis, investigation, and issue resolution in R&D settings
• Familiarity with regulated quality systems, CAPA, NCR processes
• Previous manufacturing or product development experience
• Experience with ADO (Azure DevOps) or Agile methodologies
