What You Will Be Doing

• Managing teams on large mechanical projects
• Overseeing projects from start to finish
• Working with upper management and Senior PMs to ensure job safety and successful completion
• Developing and building strong teams for each project while delivering quality output, meeting customer expectations, managing to scope, delivering on time, and staying within budget
• Driving division profitability through effective project execution
• Evaluating and continually improving systems and processes used by the department to meet customer requirements and profitability goals
• Reviewing overall contractual requirements for all projects and specific mechanical design methodology for individual projects as required
• Ensuring schedule requirements are met for all projects, adjusting priorities and milestones based on changing customer needs, resource availability, and job requirements
• Interacting with customers to validate expectations are understood and met before, during, and after project completion
• Managing the project review process with emphasis on financial forecasting
• Ensuring high-quality engineering, studies, and project deliveryWhat You Need for This Position
• 3+ years of mechanical project management experience
• Extensive knowledge of project scheduling, bids, take-offs, change orders, and contracts
• Demonstrated ability to develop relationships and assist in winning projects
• Demonstrated ability to run a profitable portfolio
• Exceptional initiative, execution, and communication skills, both oral and written
• Strong analytical, motivational, and leadership skills
