Shipper & Receiver 2
The Shipper & Receiver 2 role involves following specific directions to perform shipping and receiving assignments. This position requires a basic understanding and use of standard procedures to handle receiving, loading, unloading, picking, and inventory control tasks. Additionally, the role includes stocking products and consolidating and replenishing products throughout the warehouse, as well as picking and pulling products for daily orders.
Responsibilities- Receive and verify documentation, SKU numbers, quantities, and overall quality from vendors.
- Stock products from vendors and plants into bulk locations.
- Consolidate products with the same SKU numbers in bulk locations.
- Pull bulk products and place them in pick zones.
- Consult with Inventory Control to resolve stock issues.
- Retrieve specified products from pick locations to ship.
- Transfer cartons from shipping lanes to stack onto pallets for loading.
- Meet and maintain department quality and productivity standards.
- Drive power industrial equipment as needed and ensure certification.
- Perform other duties as deemed necessary or assigned.
- 1-2 years of warehouse experience.
- Proficiency in shipping and receiving tasks.
- Order picking and material handling skills.
- Experience with electric pallet jack, RF scanner, and general labor.
- Ability to support resolution of complex problems and collaborate with peers.
- Effective communication skills.
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable experience in manufacturing or distribution environment.
- Previous power industrial vehicle experience preferred.
- Basic computer skills and understanding of overall distribution operations.
- Ability to read and comprehend information and count inventory accurately.
- Comfortable working at heights and in 3-level modules.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds repetitively and frequently.
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and climb stairs throughout shift.
- Flexibility to work overtime with little or no notice.

Work EnvironmentWork in a new 400,000 sq ft air-conditioned warehouse facility on the 1st shift from Monday to Friday, with occasional overtime as needed. The role involves standing, walking, and climbing stairs during the shift, with a focus on safety and productivity.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Phoenix, AZ.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
