Job Description

As a Security Officer - CRE Patrol - Alarm Panel in Phoenix, AZ , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned commercial real estate locations, helping to deter security-related incidents through your visible presence and regular patrols. You will engage with tenants, visitors, and staff, providing outstanding customer service and communication while supporting access control and other security-related functions. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location, including the business interior and its perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and report any unusual or suspicious activity to the appropriate contacts.
• Maintain clear and accurate logs of patrol activities, incidents, and communications, as required by site policy.
• Interact professionally with tenants, employees, and visitors to address inquiries and provide assistance within the location.
• Work collaboratively with Allied Universal team members and site management to support the overall security-related objectives of the property.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Experience using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
