Material Handler

The Material Handler will be responsible for transporting and handling materials within a structural steel manufacturing facility. This role involves operating forklifts, overhead cranes, and other equipment to move materials efficiently and safely between designated locations.

• Operate forklifts, overhead cranes, and other machinery to transport materials.
• Collaborate closely with the welding team, machine operating team, supervisors, and managers to ensure smooth workflow.
• Assist with loading, unloading, and organizing materials both in the air-conditioned production bay and outdoors.
• Maintain open communication regarding the progress of daily tasks.
• Follow and enforce all safety protocols to uphold the facility's priority of workplace safety.

• Ability to provide progress updates and maintain effective communication with team members.
• Capability to work in both indoor and outdoor settings and perform physically demanding tasks.

Employees will be working inside and outside of a large structural steel production facility.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of El Mirage, AZ.

The pay range for this position is $20.25 - $20.25/hr.
