About the Role
We are seeking licensed Clinical Pharmacists to join the Phoenix VA Health Care System. Youll provide a full range of pharmacy services supporting veterans with safe, effective, and compassionate care.
Key Responsibilities
- Dispense and verify provider medication orders in VistA/CPRS.
- Counsel patients on medication use, side effects, and interactions.
- Advise providers on drug selection, dosages, and therapeutic alternatives.
- Ensure compliance with federal/state regulations for controlled substances.
- Maintain accurate inventory and security of all medications.
- Foster a collaborative, patient-centered care environment.
Qualifications
- Unrestricted pharmacist license in any U.S. State, Territory, or DC (must include controlled substances).
Schedule
- 8, 11, or 12-hour shifts (days, evenings, nights).
- Rotating weekends and holidays required.
