Job Context

Arrivia powers the travel behind many of the world's membership and loyalty brands. Its private travel marketplace gives members access to deeply discounted cruises, resorts, and hotels, and its platform runs the booking, servicing, and rewards underneath those programs. The engineering teams build and scale that platform across a distributed, cloud-native architecture.

As a Senior Software Engineer, you own significant features and services end to end, from design through production and the operational life that follows. You work with a high degree of independence on the areas you own, making the architectural calls and weighing the trade-offs across performance, reliability, security, cost, and speed to market. You build for real-world load, with the observability, failover, and operational practices that keep systems running at scale. You use AI coding agents like Claude Code, Cursor, and GitHub Copilot to move faster while holding the line on quality and security, and you mentor the engineers around you and raise the technical bar on the teams you touch. This role is Remote-US, working across US and international time zones (open to most states, with a few exceptions listed on the role page).

You fit if you have 5 to 8 years of full-stack experience shipping production software, across TypeScript/JavaScript, Python, or C#/.NET, a modern front-end framework, and a cloud platform like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
