The Arizona Lottery is currently seeking a highly motivated individual to fill a Promotion Van Associate position.

What You'll Do

• Assist customer/players visiting the lottery promotion van at events by providing excellent customer service, solving customer service concerns, selling and redeeming tickets, answering questions, providing materials, explaining process and games.
• Assist with coordinating different events across the state and providing suggestions on new events to attend.
• Handle phone inquiries, provide winning numbers, explaining games, mail requested materials and redirect calls to other departments when needed.
• Process incoming mail and other administrative tasks including preparing bank deposits, balancing daily reconciliation, preparing correspondence to internal and external customers.
• Responsible for processing payments using customer's personal identifying information and securely storing information.
• Other duties as assigned.

What You'll Bring

• Minimum of one year in customer service with cash handling experience.
• Promotions experience is preferred.
• Requires knowledge of lottery games and products, State and Lottery laws, rules and regulations and agency policies and procedures, Microsoft Office specifically Excel, customer service concepts and techniques, basic math computation practices, cash handling practices, problem solving techniques, and Google Suites.
• Requires skills in communicating with co-workers and customers, resolving customer conflict and problem solving, and adapting to changing environments.
• Requires the ability to multi-task and work efficiently, work in a close team environment, resolve customer inquiries in an effective manner, maintain knowledge of new products and processes, problem solve, provide excellent customer service, and explain general laws, rules and policies.
• Troubleshooting abilities.
• Effective in time management.
• Ability to objectively review information pertinent to position.
• Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks in an organized manner within a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to apply strong attention to detail and produce work with accuracy.

• Aptitude to learn new computer software.
