Job Description:
The Human Resources Coordinator will play a key role in supporting day-to-day HR operations across multiple locations. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys balancing employee support, HR administration, recruiting coordination, compliance, reporting, and employee engagement. The successful candidate will serve as a trusted resource for managers and employees while helping drive efficient HR processes and positive workplace initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate recruiting activities including interview scheduling, offer preparation, onboarding logistics, and new hire orientation.
- Manage the onboarding experience to ensure new employees are successfully integrated into the organization.
- Act as a resource for employees and leaders by answering HR-related questions and providing guidance on company policies and procedures.
- Support employee relations by assisting managers with coaching conversations, documentation, and workplace concerns.
- Administer benefits, leave of absence processes, and other employee lifecycle activities in partnership with HR leadership.
- Maintain employee records within the HRIS while ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Process employee status changes, employment documentation, and HR transactions.
- Generate reports related to turnover, headcount, attendance, timekeeping, and other workforce metrics.
- Monitor required certifications and compliance training for employees across assigned locations.
- Assist with performance review cycles, employee recognition programs, compensation processes, and other recurring HR initiatives.
- Partner with Payroll, Finance, Safety, Operations, and Benefits teams to ensure consistent HR support.
- Help identify opportunities to improve HR processes and operational efficiency.
- Travel periodically to support additional Arizona locations as business needs require.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of Human Resources experience; candidates with 5+ years are highly encouraged to apply.
- Experience supporting recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, HR administration, and compliance.
- Previous experience in manufacturing, industrial, logistics, recycling, distribution, or other multi-site environments is preferred.
- Experience using HRIS platforms; Dayforce experience is a plus.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Experience creating and analyzing HR reports and workforce metrics.
- Working knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
- HR certification (SHRM-CP, PHR, or progress toward certification) is a plus.
- Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred.
- Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining confidentiality.
Additional Details:
- Direct Hire opportunity
- Monday-Friday schedule (8:00 AM-5:00 PM) with flexibility on start time once a consistent schedule is established.
- Reports directly to an experienced HR Business Partner with regular collaboration from HR leadership.
- Occasional travel to other Arizona facilities is required.
- This role includes regular interaction within warehouse and industrial environments, so candidates should be comfortable working in those settings.
