The Opportunity

We're seeking an experienced Physician Assistant or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner to join our dynamic general surgery team at Banner Ironwood Medical Center in Queen Creek, Arizona. This is an exceptional opportunity for a PA/ACNP with a strong surgical skill set to collaborate with our highly trained surgeons in a well-established, thriving practice. The role includes cross-coverage at our Crismon Health Center and Merrill Ranch clinic locations.

You'll play a vital role in delivering comprehensive surgical care to a diverse patient population. As part of our team, you'll divide your time between hospital rounds, outpatient clinic visits, and providing surgical first assist in the OR—offering varied clinical experiences and the opportunity to develop your expertise across the full continuum of surgical care.

Requirements

• Board Certification as a Physician Assistant or ACNP (with RNFA certificate at time of application)
• Licensed or eligible for licensure in Arizona
• Current prescribing privileges, including DEA license for controlled substances
• Current BLS and ACLS certification

Experience

• Experienced APPs preferred; new graduates with surgical training will be considered

Practice Details

• Full-time position | Monday through Friday
• Blended inpatient and outpatient role: 3 days per week in clinic, 2 days per week in the OR
• Call: Practice Call including one weekend per month (min. 7 days per month)
