Our five-week immersive program, located in our state-of-the-art technical learning center, is designed for individuals with no prior experience who are honest, hardworking, and mechanically inclined with a passion to create an excellent customer experience.

Program Highlights:

• Duration: 5 weeks
• Location: Green Valley Cooling & Heating Technical Learning Center - 645 W. Ward Lane Green Valley, AZ 85614
• HVAC Experience Required: None
• Program Dates: Monday August 3rd to Wednesday Sept. 2nd, 2026
• Class: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 9:00AM-3:00PM with an hour lunch between 12:00PM-1:00PM. Wednesday from 7:00AM to 6:00PM.
• Training Type: Hands-on with provided learning materials. You will have required homework to complete.
• Compensation: Paid on-the-job training - Earn while you learn! $16.00 per hour. We are paying you to attend the academy and the program is at no cost to you.
• Tuition: No tuition fees

7. Who is a good fit for Green Valley Technical Academy?

• 18 years or older
• High School diploma, GED, or higher
• Successfully pass background check and drug screening
• Clean driving record and valid Arizona driver’s license
• Basic computer skills
• Positive attitude & willingness to learn
• Safely lift 75 pounds or more
• Climb ladders
• Work outdoors in hot and cold temperatures
• Operate service vehicles
