Stinger Bridge & Iron, an AISC certified structural steel fabricator and PCI certified precast concrete girder fabricator and erection contractor. Stinger focuses primarily on the Southwestern Bridge and Highway market, specializing in bridge projects. Stinger fabricates in its Coolidge, Arizona facility located south of the Phoenix/Chandler/Gilbert area and erects work in Arizona, California, Nevada, New Mexico, Texas and Colorado. POSITION SCOPE
As Accounts Receivable Support , you will play a crucial role in managing the financial health of our organization. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate records of all incoming payments, ensuring timely collection of outstanding invoices, and resolving any payment discrepancies. Your attention to detail and strong organizational skills will contribute to the overall success of our finance department.
PRIMARY DUTIES
- Record incoming payments
- Providing administrative and clerical support, and providing other support as required
- Invoicing
- Calculating, recording, and inputting financial data, and matching payments to invoices
- Verifying the accuracy of sales orders, contracts, and pricing, and reconciling the accounts receivable ledger
- Maintain up-to-date customer records with accurate billing and contact information
- Perform other duties as assigned
BACKGROUND
- Bachelor degree in Accounting preferred or in business-related field or equivalent experience
- Background in Microsoft Office software
- Excellent communication, analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Detail orientation
- Strong communication skills
- The ability to handle tense interactions with clients
- Familiarity with accounting software
- Working knowledge of database and spreadsheet software
- Relevant experience using modern communication systems
- Ability to handle confidential information
- Ability to work independently, as well as in a team environment
