Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

An opportunity is available for a Special Education Teacher to support students in grades 6-12 within a resource setting. This full-time contract position is located in Surprise, AZ, and involves working with middle and high school students. The role requires a teacher who is comfortable managing student progress, documenting services, and collaborating closely with the special education team to deliver effective support tailored to individual student needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver special education instruction aligned with students IEPs in a resource classroom
• Manage and document student progress and services accurately
• Collaborate with general education and special education staff to support student success
• Support core subjects appropriate for middle and high school grade levels
• Maintain compliance with district and state special education policies

Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid Special Education Certification covering grades 6-12
• Content Area or Generalist Certification for grades 6-12
• Familiarity with middle and high school core subject curriculum
• Experience working collaboratively within a special education team
• Strong organizational and documentation skills
