We create leading-edge technology solutions to prevent security threats, secure the integrity of our systems and support IT infrastructures around the world. **System Administrator** , internally known as Analyst, Information Workplace Services collaborate with many teams to support exciting, critical programs with classified information system capabilities. Success in this role means you can develop, implement, and maintain secure, cost-efficient environments across various classified programs. Program teams rely on your collaboration and guidance to define computing requirements and create end-to-end solutions to solve complex IT infrastructure problems. **What You Will Do:** + Provide System Administration in a heterogeneous Microsoft Windows and RedHat Enterprise Linux environment. + Work as a team member in a fast-paced technological environment. + Use troubleshooting techniques to resolve technical problems of a moderate to high scope and complexity to include the integration of hardware and operating systems. + Work with Cybersecurity professionals to maintain security compliance requirements. + Provide documentation and training on advanced IT processes and procedures and other tasks as assigned. + Ability to obtain required Department of Defense Directive (DoDD) 8140 / 8570 Certification requirements (CompTIA Security+ certification) within 6 months of hire date. + Systems are operational 24x7 and occasionally require work effort beyond standard work hours, may require less than 10% travel to other Raytheon sites as needed. + 100% on-site position + Up to 5% travel **Qualifications You Must Have:** + Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and less than 2 years prior relevant experience. + The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is **_required prior to start date_** . U.S. citizenship is required, asonly U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance. + Experience with Windows Operating Systems or Linux. **Qualifications We Prefer:** + Experience with patching, and security hardening. + Experience with PC and/or Server troubleshooting + Experience in developing solutions and documenting technical problems. + Experience with Linux Operating Systems, and/or VMWare (vCenter, vSphere, VDI, ESX), Splunk or Tenable Nessus Monitoring Tools, scripting. + Experience with security hardening of Windows or Linux systems. + Experience with NetApp data storage and data backup technologies. **What We Offer:** Our values drive our actions, behaviors, and performance with a vision for a safer, more connected world. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products. The salary range for this role is 55,000 USD - 107,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
