Email Designer

:

We are seeking a versatile Email Designer to join our marketing team. 70% of your time will be dedicated to creating compelling email assets, while the remaining 30% will involve supporting design tasks across social media, websites, and print materials. We're looking for a designer who can drive engagement and conversions with their design expertise.

Responsibilities

• Design visually captivating and strategically effective email campaigns that align with marketing objectives, brand guidelines, and industry trends.
• Develop responsive, user-friendly, email templates optimized for different devices and email clients.
• Write compelling copy and construct segmented lists to personalize messaging and optimize engagement.
• Manage the email marketing calendar, ensuring timely and relevant communications aligned with product launches, promotions, and brand milestones.
• Paid Ads: Design visually appealing and platform-compliant ads, including both static images and animations. Understands the nuances of social media advertising, such as aspect ratios, text overlay limits, and audience engagement strategies.
• Any other social media tasks by creating and scheduling posts, designing graphics, and engaging with followers to foster community interaction.
• Regularly assess and improve automated email and social media strategies, including segmentation, workflow automation, and A/B testing.
• Analyze campaign performance using metrics such as open rates, click-through rates, conversion rates, engagement metrics, and revenue generated, and adjust strategies accordingly.
• Support the Marketing and Sales team in design efforts to further brand exposure.
• Any other creative and design-related tasks for digital and print.

Qualifications & Skills

• Portfolio of work
• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in graphic design.
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and Figma.
• Effective communication skills to understand VIIA's design needs, collaborate with team members, and articulate design concepts.
• Experience using email marketing software, especially Klaviyo, for campaign creation, list management, and familiarity with social media management tools.
• Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills, with an eye for detail and the ability to craft compelling copy.
• Strong understanding of segmentation, workflow automation, and email marketing best practices.
• Familiarity with web design principles.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

We implement a 2-month trial period to evaluate the candidate's skills and potential fit for a permanent role. Pay rates are adjusted according to the candidate's depth of experience.

Pay: $21.00 - $27.50 per hour

Expected hours: 1 - 40 per week
