Job Description
The Material Handler role is responsible for operations related to the final packaging or boxing of products, performing weekly cycle counts, partnering with shippers and receivers to coordinate all material needs, and printing pick lists and pick work orders. This role also includes following standard operating procedures (SOPs) and communicating with each department to understand where materials are needed and to manage the material flow of the operation while maintaining the quality of all products.
Responsibilities
- Perform operations related to final packaging or boxing of products.
- Conduct weekly cycle counts.
- Partner with shippers and receivers to coordinate all material needs.
- Print pick lists and pick work orders.
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Communicate with each department to understand material needs and manage material flow.
- Maintain the quality of all products.
Essential Skills
- Proficiency in material handling and inventory check.
- Experience in warehouse management and operations.
- Proficient with computers and relevant warehouse management software.
- Ability to bend and lift heavy materials up to 40 pounds.
- 2 to 3 years of material handling or material coordinating experience.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- 2 to 4 years of warehouse experience is preferred.
- Experience in Kitting/Material Handling is a must.
- Forklift Certification is a plus (certification provided if necessary).

Work Environment
Weekend Shift: Friday - Sunday, 6:00 am - 6:30 pm. The work environment involves handling materials and utilizing relevant technologies to manage warehouse operations effectively.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Tucson, Arizona.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
