Required Skills/Experience

• Experience must also include EITHER neuro or CV.
• Must have unit/specialty experience in the past 6 months.

Preferred Skills/Experience

• Prefer prior experience work at a similar size unit ICU.

Required Credentials

• RN jobs in the following units: Cardiac Cath Lab, Electrophysiology, ED/ER, Endoscopy, any ICU/critical care, IR, LTAC ICU, Med-Surg/Tele, Tele, PACU, Stepdown/PCU are required to pass a Basic Dysrhythmia/EKG exam during onboarding.
• UNA Dysrhythmia Exam required 24-48hrs PRIOR TO ACCEPTANCE of a position. MAX ATTEMPTS IS 2.
• There is also a pass/fail Sim Lab on Day 1 of orientation.

Special Requests

• Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained.
• Resume: Each employment history entry must include all the following: detailed duties, hospital size, unit size, trauma level (if applicable), patient ratio, teaching facility.
• Eligibility as Current/Previous Employee: Cannot have worked at any CommonSpirit location within the last 12 months.
• References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you're applying to.
• Submission Limit: Cannot apply to more than one job order on the same unit and shift at the facility.
• Scrub Color/Dress Code: Navy.

Shift & Scheduling

• Weekend Requirements: 3 weekend shifts in a 4 week schedule, Nightshift weekends are Friday - Saturday. Dayshift are Saturday - Sunday. Min EOW (could work up to 3 wknds/mo).
• Holiday Requirements: May have 1 holiday off in an assignment.
• Is there a call or standby requirement? No additional call/standby shifts required. However, may be low censused up to 3 times per contract depending on unit needs.

Floating Requirements

• ER float positions will require floating between different ER satellite locations in the area. A home base facility will try to be established, however this may not be the facility the clinician is regularly at. A schedule will be made in advance, so clinicians is aware of what location they'll be reporting to.
• Float to tele with a 1:3 or 1:4 ratio as needed.
• Sister units are a medical/cardiac 36 bed ICU & 12 bed overflow ICU. Expectation is to float between all 3 ICUs.
• First to float, could float to sister facility, Mercy Gilbert.

Details:

• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW : This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear "Yes" or "No" response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
