**Job Title: General Assembler**
**Job Description**
We are seeking a dedicated General Assembler to join our team in assembling a wide range of parts necessary for the larger unit assembly. This role requires mechanical aptitude and the ability to work with hand and air-powered tools efficiently.
**Responsibilities**
+ Assemble a variety of parts required for larger unit assembly.
+ Potentially operate machinery such as Band Saw, Brake Press, and Plate Roller.
+ Read and interpret engineering blueprints.
+ Use hand and power tools to perform assembly tasks.
+ Work overtime when necessary to meet production targets.
**Essential Skills**
+ 6+ months of assembly experience.
+ Mechanical assembly and mechanic experience.
+ Ability to read a tape measure accurately.
+ Experience with hand and air-powered tools.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience with press brakes, shears, and basic CNC machinery is a plus.
+ Ability to read blueprints is highly advantageous.
+ Electrical assembly experience is preferred.

**Work Environment**
Work in a large manufacturing environment that includes both indoor and outdoor settings. While part of the area is air-conditioned, most of it is not. Be prepared to work potential overtime, with shifts running from 6 am to 2:30 pm, with possible extensions to 5 am to 4/5 pm. The dress code requires steel-toed boots, pants/work jeans, and a t-shirt.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chandler, AZ.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $23.00/hr.
