Compliance Attorney
Job Title: Compliance Attorney | Corporate Legal Counsel Location: Phoenix, AZ Company Overview: Republic Financial Services is a fast-growing company committed to maintaining the highest standards of legal and regulatory compliance. We are seeking a talented Compliance Attorney to join our legal team and help navigate complex regulatory environments while supporting our business operations. Position Summary: We are looking for a detail-oriented, strategic, and proactive Compliance Attorney to provide legal guidance and ensure our company complies with all applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, advising leadership on compliance programs, risk management, and corporate governance. Key Responsibilities:
- Advise on federal, state, and local regulatory requirements affecting business operations.
- Develop, implement, and maintain corporate compliance policies and procedures.
- Conduct internal audits and risk assessments to identify compliance gaps.
- Review contracts, agreements, and other legal documents to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address compliance concerns and mitigate risk.
- Monitor and analyze changes in laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Provide training and guidance to employees on compliance-related matters.
- Assist in investigations and reporting of potential compliance violations.
- Represent clients in court proceedings.
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and active bar membership.
- 3+ years of experience in corporate compliance, regulatory law, or related legal field.
- Strong knowledge of industry-specific regulations; legal principles and procedures.
- Excellent analytical, research, and communication skills.
- Ability to provide practical, business-oriented legal solutions.
- Experience in litigation and courtroom procedures.
- Experience with internal investigations, risk assessments, and compliance programs is preferred.
