Compliance Attorney

Position Summary: We are looking for a detail-oriented, strategic, and proactive Compliance Attorney to provide legal guidance and ensure our company complies with all applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, advising leadership on compliance programs, risk management, and corporate governance. Key Responsibilities:

• Advise on federal, state, and local regulatory requirements affecting business operations.
• Develop, implement, and maintain corporate compliance policies and procedures.
• Conduct internal audits and risk assessments to identify compliance gaps.
• Review contracts, agreements, and other legal documents to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address compliance concerns and mitigate risk.
• Monitor and analyze changes in laws, regulations, and industry standards.
• Provide training and guidance to employees on compliance-related matters.
• Assist in investigations and reporting of potential compliance violations.
• Represent clients in court proceedings.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and active bar membership.
• 3+ years of experience in corporate compliance, regulatory law, or related legal field.
• Strong knowledge of industry-specific regulations; legal principles and procedures.
• Excellent analytical, research, and communication skills.
• Ability to provide practical, business-oriented legal solutions.
• Experience in litigation and courtroom procedures.
• Experience with internal investigations, risk assessments, and compliance programs is preferred.
