Position Overview:
As a QA Engineer at Bausch-White Masonry, LLC, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our construction projects. You will work closely with our project managers, architects, and construction workers to identify and resolve any potential quality issues before they become problems. Your attention to detail and strong understanding of construction processes will be crucial in ensuring that our projects meet the highest standards of quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement quality control procedures for all construction projects
- Conduct regular inspections of construction sites to identify and address any quality issues
- Collaborate with project managers and construction workers to develop solutions for quality problems
- Review construction plans and specifications to ensure compliance with quality standards
- Monitor and track quality metrics to identify areas for improvement
- Create and maintain documentation of quality control processes and procedures
- Train and educate construction workers on quality standards and procedures
- Communicate with clients to address any quality concerns and ensure their satisfaction
- Stay up-to-date with industry standards and best practices for quality control in construction projects
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in quality control or assurance in the construction industry
- Strong understanding of construction processes and materials
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications
- Knowledge of quality control standards and procedures
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software programs
