CREW LEAD

Position Summary:
The position is responsible for leading assigned Merchandiser team members as well as covering vacations. The Merchandising Crew Lead will also review and evaluate accounts, ensuring standards are being met and processes followed. The position will also be responsible to do ride-with and evaluations of team members. The Merchandising Crew Lead will report directly to Team Leaders.

Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:
- Works with assigned merchandiser team members to call on accounts; greet customers, discuss shelves and displays; prefill and build displays for weekly ad set-up.
- Provides Merchandiser assessments to Team Lead and develop plans to increase performance.
- Acts as a bridge to gap classroom training program and real-world execution. Tasks include, but not limited to: New hire ride along, Gap assessments and developing plans to improve Merchandiser efficiency and performance.
- Cover vacations scheduled for Merchandiser's assigned to their team in an efficient manner.
- Ensures all safety protocol and job processes are being followed as well as make suggestions to Team Leads to improve performance. Includes Code dates, Rotation, back stock organization, internal and external communication met and pallet collection.
- Checks and monitors Hensley Beverage and competitive shelf and display pricing and reporting findings to appropriate leadership.
- Completes daily staff and account reports, reviewing with Team Lead at the end of each day.
- Performs ride with evaluations and follow up performance reviews. Makes critical decisions pertaining to their team member's productivity/performance.
- Documents and captures the above information on appropriate Hensley forms. Notes any concerns needing to be addressed with the assigned employees and communicates back to Team Leader upon finishing each day.
Required Skills and Experience:
- The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and frequently lift and/or move more than 100 pounds
- Must be able to work weekends and holidays.
- Valid Driver's License
- Must have a cell phone with data capability, we will provide cell phone allowance.
