Why the Dispatch Associate is important to Bright:
As the Dispatch Associate you are responsible for the routing of jobs and addressing concerns as they arise throughout the day. The Dispatcher supports drivers, clients and sales team with inquiries. With the use of our GPS software, the Dispatch Associate will assist with planning routes for jobs and crew to comply with client needs, safety policies and efficiency. The Dispatch Associate is in constant communication with drivers and crew to ensure equipment is delivered to the correct location and help address any client inquiries.
About You:
· Prior dispatching experience is a plus.
· Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
· Problem solving and multi-tasking skills.
· Excellent multitasker who thrives under pressure to perform with accuracy and efficiency
· Strong working knowledge of GPS software applications
· Comfortable working with diverse personalities
· Strong time management and customer service skills
· Verbal and written communication skills
· Familiar with Microsoft Office
Your contributions to the Bright Team:
· Plan, organize, or manage the work of the drivers and operations team to ensure the work is accomplished in a manner consistent with company and safety requirements.
· Provides timely responses and answers to emails/calls/requests.
· Clearly communicate directly with clients in time sensitive situations.
· Knowledgeable in explaining the proper use of equipment to team members and clients.
· Build professional relationships with drivers.
· Collaborate closely with drivers and crew to communicate urgent requests.
· Resolve delivery issues with drivers and clients.
· Multi-tasking last-minute requests with established routes for the day
· Team player who leads by example with energy, commitment, and dependability.
Physical Demands and Abilities:
· Open availability to meet the demands of the business including weekends and overtime as needed.
· Maintain a valid driver’s license with a driving record that meets company/insurance standards.
· Bilingual skills preferred to communicate with our clients and team members.
· Ability to learn multiple GPS and Routing Software
· Clean background
· Submit to drug test
· Frequently sitting, standing and walking.
· Frequently subject to repetitive motion such as typing, data entry and vision to monitor.
