Were seeking a driven Estate & Trust Tax Preparer passionate about making a meaningful impact on clients and colleagues. At Anthem, youll take the lead on fiduciary and estate tax matters, collaborate with talented professionals, and help guide clients through complex estate and trust needsall within a culture built on respect, service, and professional growth.

What You'll Do

• Prepare federal and state fiduciary income tax returns (Form 1041), estate tax returns (Form 706), gift tax returns (Form 709), and related schedules, as well as Form 5227 for charitable and split-interest trusts.
• Assist in estate and trust administration, from tracking important distributions to finalizing tax affairs for estates.
• Research tax rules and provide clients with accurate planning advice, emphasizing compliance and creative solutions.
• Serve as a resource for clients, attorneys, and beneficiariesresolving outstanding issues and delivering clear, professional communication.
• Maintain careful records, manage deadlines, and ensure the highest quality in every engagement.
• Contribute ideas, stay up to date on tax law changes, and enjoy continuous learning.

What You'll Bring

• Bachelors degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• CPA or Enrolled Agent preferred
• 35 years specialized experience in estate and trust tax preparation, including hands-on work with Forms 1041, 706, 709, and 5227.
• Strong technical knowledge of fiduciary accounting and trust/estate administration.
• Experience with tax software and Microsoft Office Suite (Thomson Reuters, CCH Axcess, or similar, a plus).
• Accuracy, strong organization, and a collaborative mindset.
• Excellent communicationfor clients and colleagues alike.
• Spanish language skills a plus.
