Lead Site Instructor (On-Site Tucson Campus)

MGRM
Tucson, AZ

Lead Site Instructor (On-Site – Tucson Campus).

Location: Pinnacle Charter Schools – Tucson, Arizona.

Position Type: Full-Time, On-Site.

About Us:

Pinnacle Charter Schools, operated by MGRM Pinnacle, is a Cognia-accredited network of alternative, for-profit charter schools serving students across Arizona. Since 1995, our year-round model has combined online coursework with in-person support at school sites, helping students who are behind in credits, over-age, or seeking an alternative pathway to graduation.

We are committed to providing structure, support, personalized learning, and a positive, student-centered environment for the at-risk youth we serve.

The Opportunity:

We are launching a new Tucson campus and are seeking a confident, solutions-oriented Lead Site Instructor to take on a key leadership role from the ground up. This is an exciting opportunity for a mission-driven educator or site coordinator who excels in independent decision-making, thrives in dynamic environments, and enjoys building strong school culture.

The Lead Site Instructor will serve as the primary point of contact for students, families, and community members, while ensuring instructional quality, student engagement, compliance, and daily site operations run smoothly. The role requires a strong campus presence, professional judgment, and the ability to lead with both accountability and compassion.

What You’ll Do:

Instructional Oversight:

  • Support instructional staff in monitoring student progress, engagement, and achievement.
  • Oversee daily student supervision, behavior management, and instructional support needs.
  • Ensure instructional interactions align with school expectations for academic rigor and professionalism.
  • Provide student guidance on navigating online curriculum and request additional services when needed.
  • Track attendance, engagement, and assessment completion in coordination with district-level systems.

Site Leadership & Operations:

  • Serve as the on-site lead responsible for smooth day-to-day campus operations.
  • Promote a safe, organized, and welcoming school environment by coordinating site needs, supplies, and basic facilities tasks.
  • Act as the primary liaison between the campus and district office, communicating site-level needs and concerns proactively.
  • Provide on-the-ground leadership during testing windows, school events, and parent visits.
  • Maintain a strong, positive presence to promote student accountability and staff collaboration.

Family & Community Engagement:

  • Serve as the face of the campus for visiting families and community partners.
  • Communicate regularly and professionally regarding student progress, behavior, and available supports.
  • Foster a respectful, inclusive, and student-centered atmosphere at all times.
  • Represent the school in the local Tucson community and help establish the campus as a trusted educational option.

What You Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; teaching credential or administrative coursework preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in education, youth programs, or school-site leadership.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Experience working with at-risk or non-traditional student populations strongly preferred.
  • Comfort with technology and supporting students working in online or blended learning environments.
  • Calm, professional demeanor with strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus but not required.

Why Join Us?:

  • Play a foundational role in shaping a new Tucson campus.
  • Make a direct impact on students who benefit from structure, encouragement, and individualized support.
  • Join a mission-driven organization with opportunities for growth and leadership.
  • Lead with autonomy while receiving support from an experienced district office team.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Competitive salary based on experience.
  • Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and life insurance.
  • Employer retirement contribution.
