Nurse Practitioner

We are an established Pain Management Practice seeking a Physician’s Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our growing team. As a Physician’s Assistant or Nurse Practitioner, regardless of experience in this field, you would be required to work closely with our Double Board Certified Medical Director, so bring your team spirit and a positive attitude. Patience, problem-solving skills and communication ability are important.

Responsibilities:

• Examine patients and their medical records.
• Order and study diagnostic tests (blood tests, X-rays etc.)
• Diagnose health conditions and illnesses.
• Review medical records with Medical Director.
• Propose treatments for chronic pain.
• Prescribe medications.
• Maintain accurate records and schedules.
• Inform patients about their health conditions and prescribed medications.
• Educate patients and their family members on pain management care plans and procedures.
• Oversee patients’ overall health.
• Promote good health practices.
• Advance professional knowledge and conduct research.

Skills:

• Proven experience as a Physicians assistant or Nurse Practitioner in a clinic, hospital, ER or other setting.
• Knowledge of health and patient care regulations.
• preferably someone with Urgent Care, Ortho, Spine experience.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong ethics.
• Team spirit with a positive attitude.
• Patience and cool-headedness.
• Willingness to continue gaining knowledge and clinical experience.
• Valid Physician’s Assistant or Nurse Practitioner License.
• Master’s degree; PhD is a plus.

Job Classification: Full Time
