C & S Sweeping Services, Inc. has developed and maintained a solid reputation for providing the highest quality service within the commercial power sweeping, milling, and heavy highway construction industries throughout Arizona and the western United States. We provide our clients with a comprehensive range of power sweeping, pavement profiling (milling), dust control, roadway washing, pavement preservation, trucking, and specialized construction support services.
As our company continues to grow, we are seeking a Parts Administrator to support our Milling Department at our Phoenix location.
Under the direction of the Milling Operations Manager, the Parts Administrator is responsible for assisting with the procurement, tracking, inventory, organization, and distribution of parts and supplies necessary to keep our milling equipment operating efficiently. This position requires excellent organizational and communication skills, attention to detail, and the flexibility to travel throughout Arizona to support field operations as needed.
Essential Job Functions
- Order, receive, verify, organize, and distribute parts for the milling department.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with inventory counts.
- Track parts usage, purchase orders, invoices, and vendor information.
- Coordinate with mechanics, operators, vendors, and management to ensure timely availability of parts.
- Maintain organized parts storage areas and ensure inventory is properly labeled and stocked.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe parts room and shop environment by keeping work areas orderly, properly storing parts and materials, disposing of waste appropriately, and following all housekeeping and safety standards.
- Assist with picking up and delivering parts, supplies, and equipment to field jobs and shop locations.
- Communicate effectively with field crews regarding parts availability and delivery schedules.
- Operate a company vehicle safely while making deliveries and vendor pickups.
- Assist with other maintenance or administrative tasks as business needs require.
- Utilize Microsoft Office programs, including Excel and Word, to maintain records, spreadsheets, reports, and other documentation.
- Maintain professionalism and provide excellent customer service when working with vendors and internal departments.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Valid Arizona Driver's License with an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record.
- Previous experience in construction equipment, heavy equipment, automotive, or diesel parts is preferred.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word, is required.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be dependable with excellent attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Frequent pushing, pulling, reaching, bending, stooping, kneeling, twisting, and working in various weather conditions.
- Must be willing and able to travel throughout Arizona to support milling operations.
- Must be available to work days, nights, weekends, holidays, and extended hours as operational needs require.
- Must safely operate company vehicles and obey all traffic laws, including wearing a seat belt, maintaining hands-free phone use, observing posted speed limits, and following all company driving policies.
