Shift Hours: 7:00 a.m. 5:00 p.m. (1-hour lunch)

Position Overview

A full-service hospital in Flagstaff, AZ is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Electrophysiologist to provide ongoing locum coverage. The assignment includes both inpatient cath lab work and outpatient clinic responsibilities, with a focus on EP ablations and rhythm management.

Work Details

  • Setting: Hospital / In-Office Clinic

  • Hospital Size: 268 beds

  • EMR: Cerner

  • Patient Volume:

  • Clinic: 2022 patients/day

  • Hospital consults: 34/day

  • EP cases: 46/day (depending on case length)

  • Patient Population: Adult

  • Procedures:

  • Cardiac Electrophysiology (Heart Rhythm Disturbances)

  • Ablations (Required) Must have 100 EP cases within last 2 years, with emphasis on ablations

  • TEEs and moderate sedation (must perform independently)

  • Technology: Abbott Ensite-X Mapping System (proficiency required)

    Requirements

    • Board Certified / Board Eligible in Cardiology or Electrophysiology (Required)

    • Active AZ License or Willing to Obtain

    • DEA (AZ Registered) Required

    • ACLS Required

    • Minimum Experience: 1 year

    • Credentialing Timeframe: ~30 days
