Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Working full time, you’ll collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to help students develop mobility, strength, and confidence so they can fully participate in school activities. Your expertise will play a crucial role in creating supportive learning environments where every child can thrive.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid AZ IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card required
• State licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT)
• Previous pediatric or school-based PT experience preferred
• Understanding of K-12 developmental stages and school environments
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams
• Compassion, adaptability, and problem-solving abilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for K-12 students
• Deliver direct therapy services in group and one-on-one formats
• Document progress and maintain organized records according to educational standards
• Collaborate closely with teachers, support staff, and families to meet student needs
• Support compliance with IEP/504 goals and participate in related meetings when needed
• Provide training and resources to staff and families for continuity of care
• Foster a positive, encouraging atmosphere that inspires student growth and achievement
