Material Handler

Our Tempe client is seeking a Material Handler to join their team.

**Job Responsibilities:**

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials and shipments against purchase orders and packing slips

• Load and unload materials from trucks, containers, and pallets using appropriate equipment

• Move materials to designated storage areas and organize inventory in warehouse locations

• Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment according to customer requirements and company standards

• Maintain accurate inventory records and update systems in real-time

• Perform cycle counts and assist with physical inventory audits

• Stage materials for production or distribution according to schedules and priorities

• Ensure warehouse cleanliness and organization by following 5S principles

• Identify and report damaged or defective materials to supervisors promptly

• Follow all safety protocols and wear required personal protective equipment

• Collaborate with team members to meet daily production and shipping goals

• Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned

**Skills Required:**

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Must have experience with RF Scanner

• Previous experience in warehouse, logistics, or material handling preferred

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling materials and documentation

• Basic computer skills and ability to learn warehouse management systems

• Excellent organizational and time management abilities

• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment

• Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment

• Flexibility to work various shifts including overtime when needed

• Problem-solving mindset and proactive approach to challenges
