Occupational Therapist Job Details

• Position Type: Locum tenens (Travel/Contract Occupational Therapist)
• Healthcare Setting: Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility
• Location: Gilbert, AZ 85295 (Arizona OT jobs)
• Start Date: August 18, 2025
• End Date: November 17, 2025
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, 8-hour day shifts
• Hours per Week: 40
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2120 - $2180
• Patient Ratio: 8 patients per therapist, supported by 1-2 assistants and 1 rehab tech
• Float Option: Opportunity to float to a sister facility (8 miles away)

Occupational Therapist Qualifications

• Active Occupational Therapist (OT) license (Arizona OT license preferred)
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of experience as an Occupational Therapist, preferably in inpatient rehab
• Strong time management and point-of-care documentation skills
• Knowledge of GG Scoring and clinical documentation
• Ability to work with adult patient populations in a clinical setting
• Wine-colored scrubs required

Occupational Therapist Responsibilities

• Deliver individualized occupational therapy to adult patients recovering from neurological, orthopedic, cardiac, and trauma-related conditions
• Utilize advanced rehabilitation equipment including Vector, Litegait, Saeto, InMotion ARM, Senaptec Sensory, and Technobody
• Document patient progress using UDS EHR system
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to develop and implement comprehensive care plans
• Educate patients and families on therapeutic exercises and adaptive techniques to promote independence
• Float to a nearby sister facility as needed
