Job Opportunity – Inpatient Psychiatry Physician – Arizona
Start Date: September 18
Location: Arizona
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 12-hour day shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) with overnight call coverage required for 50% of days worked. Specific dates include September 16-19, 24-27; October 9-11; and November 23-29. Ongoing contract with flexible scheduling.
Highlights:
- Dual-unit inpatient setting: 17-bed adult unit and 9-bed adolescent unit (ages 13-17)
- Patient population mix: 75% adult, 25% adolescent with an average length of stay of 7 days
- Collaborative environment with 2 physicians on shift at all times for excellent peer support
- Cerner EMR system with mandatory remote training (approximately 4 hours, paid)
- 30-day credentialing timeframe with comprehensive onboarding support
- Ongoing contract offering long-term stability and continuity of care
Requirements:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry
- Active Arizona medical license or IMLC Letter of Qualification (LOQ)
- Active DEA registration required
- Minimum 1 year of psychiatry experience
- COVID-19 and Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions and declinations considered)
- Current case logs and work history documentation
